We are two 18 year old graduates from Melbourne who have just finished year 12 and are looking to make a positive difference in this world.
There’s a lot of focus and stress around your final results and, while everyone tries to tell you to do the best you can and that if you don’t get in to your first preference there will be other options, we felt really strongly that we wanted to finish our school years with something more than a number to remember it by.
We came up with Donate Your ATAR as a way of making our year 12 score that extra bit meaningful – by helping out those who need our help the most.
Our mission - Make your score meaningful
We want to encourage as many Australian school leavers as possible to make their ATAR score meaningful by donating that number (or a percentage of it) to a charity of their choice.
No matter what your passion is - animals, sick children, world hunger or aid, poverty, homelessness, health issues, education or something else closer to home – you can make a difference by pledging to donate your ATAR to a charity that needs your support.
Remember, every little bit counts.
GiveEasy has created a mobile application, which is now being used by the public and is downloadable through the apple store, which we believe is the future of giving and in fact a mobile, giving and social revolution.
GiveEasy facilitates donations for charities allowing donors to give any time, anywhere in a simpler, smart and more social way.
This month, GiveEasy won The Australian/Shell Innovation Challenge for Community Services at the Museum of Contemporary Art, This was obviously a big achievement.
