WIRES Summer Appeal
This Summer has the potential to be the hottest on record and extreme events put extreme pressure on our native animals. With ongoing extreme weather conditions forecast we need to be ready to assist our native animals that fall victim to heat stress, burns, smoke inhalation and habitat loss as well as those suffering from illness, injuries, lack of food and those who’ve been orphaned. At this time of year WIRES receive over 300 calls a day to assist animals in distress and we rely on the community to alert us to animals in need, to seek advice, to assist with native species conservation and to support our rescue and care services. Please donate today to help us help more animals - together we can change the world for wildlife!
